My daughter and I took at train from Munich following the end of a two week Europe tour in 2016 to Amsterdam Central station so she could see the Anne Franke house. We were in Amsterdam for two full days. I enjoyed taking a canal cruise. One day just to take a break we visited their zoo that had plenty of flowers and I enjoyed seeing the many Dutch families there. The trams make it easy to see the sights if too far to walk. Coming from St. Louis to takes a while to get use to the many bike and scooter riders. I enjoyed your walking tour.

Funny detail, Mauritius was named after the prince of Orange-Nassau Maurits a real innovator in warfare. The Dutch encountered a bird called a Dodo that tasted terribly but was unafraid of humans or other predators. Cats and rats that climbed off the ships likely caused it to go extinct as they ate their young and their eggs.

It's a reminiscing experience watching this video. In October 2019 I visited a friend in Amsterdam. This is the exact route she took me to show me around the beautiful city. Amsterdam is so gorgeous... A while ago I was talking to someone who lived in Netherlands, and he told me that is one of the best places to disabled people live (I'm disabled, and here in Braziil I can barely leave my house, the structure is awful). I wish I can visit there someday!
