While likely not to happen, it would certainly help decrease traffic congestion if you partnered with this school to provide free (or discounted) rail travel to and from the school. That all depends on one key factor: how many students live close to a train station

Only one problem with that. I like your theory and thinking, but there is only 1 Amtrak station in the entire city of Baltimore. However, it would make a good idea for field trips. As Maryland students often have a field trip sometime in their school career to the nations capital, Washington D.C. Amtrak could easily provide train service for the kids to get there with teachers and parent chaperones along for the ride. This is because the D.C. Union Station isn’t that far from places like the White House and the Capitol Building, which are very important places for them to visit. I would know, I took that trip from Harford County M.D. in the 6th grade, however it was sadly on a motor coach bus.
