Amtrak, SEPTA, Private Cars & RARE Catches [Winter 2022]

On the not so cold days during the winter i railfanned out in the SEPTA territory on the Northeast Corridor line. Also caught some rare moves so enjoy those as well

🤭Had to giggle at about the 1hr. 49min. spot when you said he honked his hon at you. All train's; or are supposed to, honk their horn twice when leaving from a stopped position. But great shots. Amazing that the old Pennsylvania Pullman can be pulled at a 100 m.p.h. 🚄🚃🚈

Not all lol. They sometimes honk once or not at all when leaving the stations. The pullman can run up to 110mph

Got to ask how did you manage to get those shots on the platform at Newark and New York Penn without either Amtrak or NJT police kicking you out or even hassling you? They're ultra protective of the stations on the corridor

I’ve been filming at Newark for many years since summer 2003, got hassled once in November 2004 but it wasn’t a big issue, between then & now i never got bothered about recording, I’ve recorded in front of police several times guess they’re perfectly fine with recording
