Verghese Kurien is the father of the White Revolution. He was a social entrepreneur who started his campaign from Kheda district of Gujarat. Kurien's operation Flood made dairy farming India's largest self-sustaining industry and the largest rural employment sector. It made India the world's largest milk producer, doubled the milk available for each indian. Verghese Kurien started Amul. Production of milk powder from buffalo milk was invented in Amul Dairy by HM Dalaya.

Vergese Kurian has not only made india the largest producer of milk but has improved the lives of millions of farmers He has made a profound change in the lives of millions of indians by giving mutritional security by availibality of milk After independence not only the milk production has increased but even the percapita availibility of milk has increase inspite oof the huge increase in the population In my opinion he was more deserving of BHARAT RATAN than anyone else The other such person who was more deserving of bharat ratan is Norman Borlaug Please do a story on him because many Indians don't know his contribution to this nation Please do a good research on him now a days it is easy due to internet but use other sources also to know his contribution to world food security in what conditions in a small place in Mexico he made such a profound chage for humanity If there is a man who has saved most human lives them it surely will b Norman Borlaug He is also the person who made india foodgrain self sufficient from a country at the brink of starvation

Since operation flood 3 India has been the top milk producer consistently not 2nd or 3rd NDDB is राष्ट्रीय डेयरी विकास बोर्ड not राष्ट्रीय दूध विकास बोर्ड located in आनंद It has seman production station at bidaj (SAG) has dairy machinery production unit at anand and provides consultincy to dairy cooperatives for establishment of dairy plants This time the research was much better than the report whic covered increase in milk prices But still it needs improvement and better research

But dairy is incomplete without slaughter houses..now these days we are looking these..after white revolution consumption of dairy items increases..which leads to cattles cruelty and their slaughter..hardly they could complete their life span..consumption in dairy is also equal to the unbiased practices and Impure milk.

Aur kyu kisan sirf ek hi mandi mein fasal bech sakta hain jiske trader yeh jankar galat fayda uthatha hain, punjab mein har 50 km pei mandi hain phir bhi woh dusre mandi ko nahi bech sakta jo ki ho sakta hain acha rate dei.. aapko private ko nahi lana mat lao par APMC reform toh honei do isme toh government ko hi bechoge like kisi bhi Mandi mein becho, no tax on mandi, iss cheez sei punjab kei farmer ki income 10 percent tak badh Sakti hain
