It's fast approaching its 20 years old! I remember when it opened! It's still one of my top 5 at Hersheypark. It held my number 1 spot at Hersheypark for close to 20 years but since wildcats revenge opened, it was bumped down. So its my number 2.

That's exactly why they are so exciting! After something nerve wracking happens, our parasympathetic nervous system releases endorphins in order to calm us down. The mix between feeling like you're in danger while also not being seems to maximize that effect

Crazy how smooth it is. I was lucky enough to ride Vortex many times in the 90's but it beat you up good. I remember leaving Kings Island with bruises. Last time I was there Top Gun just opened.

I went on this today, I remember the first time I ever went on it and it was butter smooth. For some reason this time it was ROUGH I left HURT, my shoulder was very badly hurt from the shoulder restraints, my back hurt, and I had bad side stitch, my entire left side was left in pain 😅 still had fun tho during the ride, love how intense it is

No video can capture how this ride really feels. It’s INTENSE. The video doesn’t do a good job capturing just how fast it really is, I’ve never felt anything quite like it. I’d say it’s my 3rd favorite ride at Hershey park. If you like loops I highly recommend great bear, I absolutely adore the loops on it! The twist are pretty intense but I love it.

I don't find Skyrush's restraints painful, but I honestly prefer Stormrunner. It has 80% of the airtime of Skyrush, but with more fun elements between the airtime moments.

I love Storm Runner’s restraints but the seat belts are so short. Fahrenheit is a victim of that too. Tall people and fat people won’t stand a chance to buckle in nowadays

A little more in either direction and I'd have to sign off both rides... both of which would benefit greatly from better trains. The ones are designed for people with really short legs. My legs risk cramping up on just these two coasters. I don't know if it's the profiling of the seats, or what... but yeah, new trains for BOTH Storm, and FH. (I love sky, the restraints are something you kinda get used to and accept as part of the experience, even as a med-lg sized rider. 5ft 10, 235lb)
