Thanks for the suggestions, it's fun to get to the root of these concepts. Although I suspect that for dragons, the story is a bit more complicated. Let's see..

Thanks for the interesting video! (And blessing my day with more Moreau). You mention unicorns even appearing in older translations of the bible. Now I wonder, what did they replace it by in newer versions?

The King James Version, for example, translates the word re'em with unicorn. This has been corrected by others, translate it by words like "wild ox", "wild bull", "buffalo" or "rhinoceros."

What is the title of the painting in 3:20, and who's responsible for it? That unicorn looks like something Dr. Seuss created after taking a tranquilizer. As for the lady --- well, if she's a virgin, she's a carefree, free-thinking one. There must be meaning connected with the things she's wearing (or not wearing), and I'd like to know more about it. Or I can just wait for Amuze to post a video called "Symbols of Virginity in Art History," heh heh!

It's entitled The Unicorn, painted in 1885 by Gustave Moreau. This artist also has another painting about unicorns and virgins. Both are inspired by The Lady and the Unicorn tapestries in the Musée de Cluny, and apparently this virgin and the unicorn are on an island without any men.

Well, that's one way to preserve one's virginity.
