Why? I agree that it might not be as good as the first season but it's still a pretty good anime. The Phantom Bullet arc is one of my favorites, with Mother's Rosario coming in at a close second. Aincradization is just weird.

I would have to agree, while it's not that bad, the first season was definitely better, it's still enjoyable but the amount of dialogue is too much.

we can all say that almost nothing they do will top season 1, its kinda hard to use that feeling of depth where they will die without reusing the same plot. but the new Gun Gale Ark was alright if a bit mundane but im loving the new Excalibur Ark.

something i don't get about the second season is kirito is used to super heavy swords so much so they even made a point about it in the fight with death gun but even with heavy swords he can swing them really fast to were most people can't keep up and he just owns almost everyone so why is it that when he got the light sword that was way way lighter than his normal swords that he couldn't swing them so fast that people would struggle to even see them let alone keep up?

Man..Rereading the light novels, Sao is so divided in its good and bad. Alicization for instance: Again, Like the original Sao, great concept, interesting ideas, great world....and on the other side the writing for the characters, especially Kirito, is bad. Every chapter from his point of view just makes me dislike him more.
