I just finished watching Shin Sekai Yori 3 days ago and it instantly made my top 10 anime of all time! I wasn't expecting much...but wow, it was literally a masterpiece!

This anime was one of the few to truly make me feel empty inside and have a sense of longing, I cant explain it. This feeling, I hated it. But in a way it made me question things I didn't before. Especially when considering the whole revolution and how mistreated the creatures were.

the heck Shinsekai yori had a anime? i read the manga a on 2013... "searching" oh the anime is from 2012 -_- well the manga was ecchi and yuri so make sense why in the ecchi Tags was not in it

The manga was an awful adaptation though. Anime is faithful to the original books, manga just piled on tons of fanservice.
