Holy shit. I've watched Galaxy Bounce 2012 at least two dozen times, and, while I always found the sheer volume of 3D motion tracking impressive, there are so many more little details in it than I ever picked up on. Two years later, and this video is STILL schooling me about video editing. Suffice it to say, Nostromo, that you are the god I believe in now.

I just wanted to let you know that Galaxy Bounce made a huge impact on me when it came out, and I still listen to it whenever I want to feel happy and inspired. Your videos are complex and beautiful, but they're my favorites because they're also works of art in themselves. I often show off your videos to friends and family, including non anime fans. My unfortunate mom had a particularly hard time understanding when I tried (very poorly) to explain just how complicated this is ("no, you don't understand, these animes don't just 'look like this'!" "He just chained six shows together at once.... arg!" "The front is from one show and the back is another thing and the sparkly bits are...arg!"). This is the first I saw you have a making-of video, and I had to watch it multiple times to comprehend even a fraction of all the things you're probably illustrating (I'm unfamiliar with the equipment etc.). It's really neat to see the filters you applied and where they all fit in the video. I'm so happy you make these videos and hope you continue to be inspired to create things like this! -your fan Kathy
