finally someone who agrees that they are not good as the fans are thinking. i fear it is not the fault of the authors, i will quote what someone have written on batoto: Based on Wikipedia it seems that the author planned to published it at Shueisha (Shounen Jump) and guess what? He declined the offer because they told him to tone down the manga to make it more ¨shounen¨ and went to another publisher (Kodansha) that´s a real author drawing what he wants and not what the editors want.

I hate how people say ''Anime is for children''..I don't think most children are even aloud to watch things like this - Shingeki no Kyojin is a gorey and bloody in more ways then one,considering the person who made this AMV had to put a warning sign at the begging of the video. And I really don't think young people would want to watch this (When I say ''young'' I mean like 8-9 maybe younger) But hey,they're might be a lot of young people who watch this...But my point is people really need to open their eyes and see the good in anime and not just think about it as a ''childish show that for some reason teens/adults watch.''

Normally when I encounter people who think like that, I just explain the history of Anime, how since Japan never really had the economy to make their own Hollywood, they went with the cheaper alternative of animation.

While anime in animation, story, characters etc. are only getting better and better Hollywood is going to hell with a lot of superficiel movies(not all but a lot of them) with boring plot and characters where the only interesting thing about them are explosions and I like explosions in movies as much as any other person, but explosions alone aren't what makes a great movie.
