@Lissa Nugget I ‼‼SPOILERS‼‼ (if you haven't watched the anime yet) T The anime is about a girl name Aoi, she lived a normal life with her grandfather. Her grandfather died and she lived by herself for a few years until a Ogre (forgot his name) "kidnapped" her and took her back to his inn. He explained what was happening to her. Her grandfather owed him (the Orge) a huge debt, about I think it was a million money (whatever they called it). So, her choices were either get married to him or work for the money to pay for the debt. There was a timer (a hair pin) for about a year or something if she doesn't pay him she has no other choice but to marry him. (Btw this is from what I remember so if you watched the anime and see that I made some mistakes I'm sorry it's been awhile since I last watched it and my mind hasn't been working right lately)
