I had a child spirit that I was helping to pass over to the light and to her parents. She was so upset that she couldn't find them. As I was helping her, she was about to leave and sensed that I wanted children and couldn't have them and offered to stay and be my spirit child, broke my heart that she felt the need to offer and I said thank you, but go to mummy and daddy, but she would have stayed if I'd offered (I mention this story because of Amy talking about how some spirits don't leave for different reasons). This lovely little girl went from trapped, to free, but willing to be earthbound for me. I was thrilled to send her on to mummy and daddy.

Listening to her made me think... I have had a spirit with me for at least 6-7 years that has helped me through the hard times off my life. When I cried because I couldn't bare the pain anymore, that spirit was there to sooth me and even to this day I can feel the same spirit when I hit rock bottom and can't bare the pain or panic my depression and anxiety causes. It's like she says: The spirit is there for a particular reason. It only makes itself known when I really need someone by my side and it's often it have driven me to seek comfort in my living father when it get's to tough.

I love the discussion about guides, as not many people talk about it enough. I appreciate her bringing up animal guides cause many think I'm crazy when I talk about them. When I was going through a tough time in my life I encountered tigers all the time and I had a tiger stuffed animal my whole childhood. I believed they were there to make me strong and fierce but also remind me to be gentle. It later transitioned into a hawk, and now its elephants. I see them everywhere and have them in my house and even my car. I know one of my guides is my grandfather that died before I was born.

Wow...I went through the same ordeal with the dead as well....thought everyone could see what I saw. I never could shut it down..it was and still is Grand Central Station no matter where I went in life. I've done readings around the world via FB and use to do Skype. I could handle up to 5 or 6 together through IM's..texting..etc. I finally came out of my shell so to speak and did not care what others thought of me..if the dead wants to speak..they came first to get a message across...:) My abilities are greatly enhanced over the years and proven myself. I even bi-locate...go to the other side and read records on the dead and the living...I am not the type of person who charge...I do it for service for others as it should be. What scares me is are people with abilities okay with the Bible, cause the bible says not to listen to mediums, and that men (as spirits) are asleep until God comes back and wakes them. The bible say's that mediums are not talking to the human dead. I don't personally believe that, but as a medium, I wanted to know your thoughts. In one show in season 7 there was an entity that was hanging around people with addictions. Amy said that if the person that is being haunted by this entity commits suicide they will be under control of that entity who will torture their soul for eternity. I always believed all souls go back to God ....this is a case where a soul is trapped (not by their own intent BUT controlled / prisoner by another entity). I wish ppl would have asked more questions in this area. Is there a hell? Are souls able to be destroyed / controlled / torture by other entities? The aborigines believe the soul and the spirit are separate. The soul is the software of all the experiences from all the past lives...while the spirit is the actual life force / energy of God. Can the soul be captive but the spirit go back to God?

Amy I have a question I have 2 daughters that have been seeing the Dead sense they were little. My oldest use to talk to them a lot. Plus she had guides and named the Coleslaw, Rudolf and Mr. Kilgore who was a man that died in her grandparents home. Now Coleslaw has been with her sense she was old enough to talk. My youngest daughter has been frighten of them sense she was little and will never be alone. She just told me a few months ago when we were talking to her sister about it. I'm not Amy but this is based on what I have seen her tell people in the show. Children are often very open to the dead since they don't know how to block them out. As people grow older, that ability fades unless they are a sensitive. Then it will stick with them and they will need to learn how to control it. And that can be done through therapy, I do not remember what kind of therapy she normally suggests but if I remember correctly it's a kind that works with the mind. You can also ask a local medium to come and speak with the dead and have a session and help the ones that needs help to move on for example. And if that medium would find out that either of those spirits needs to be forcefully removed, that can be done through a blessing. But it's better to let the medium decide what kind of person that needs to come in and do the blessing or cleansing since different entities will need different solutions. You can for example not block out a skinwalker with the help of a christian priest, for that you would need a shaman from the local tribe. For example.

I wonder why won't she say what it is she has faith in? I love the show and have no doubt Amy sees and experiences many things for which science has no logical answer, so it confuses and worries me somewhat to hear her say " Oh yes I have faith, but i'm not going to say what in". As a someone who has had many experiences with paranormal situations my self for over 40 yrs I have no doubt that my faith in God, the Judeo Christian God that is, has helped and even saved my life on more than 1 occasion. The multi verse/ string theory, whilst very interesting, only poses more questions than it answers and I think the multi dimension theory is far more logical as a way of trying to explain some of the things we experience. My biggest concern with all of this is that whilst Amy and many others who have spirit guides truly believe them to be benevolent in nature, the fact remains they may well be the absolute opposite and simply playing the part of friendly dead confident. From my own personal experience with meeting my own guide for the 1st time in a meditative state, I felt very uncomfortable and am convinced that the being that I met was far from friendly.

Well, maybe it is because our mind is human and very limited. People are used to religions, every religion has detailed imagination about their gods or prophets. Maybe it is none of that. Maybe it is combined all of it together. Maybe it is something very different we can't handle because we are used to our religions and gods we know. I feel there is something much more greater and more complicated out there, than we are hold on to. And as Amy said, she refers to the evil beings she sees as "Demons" because she knows, that the majority knows what she means by that. And maybe it is the same with Angels. Some refer to them as spirit guides or beings made of light. And maybe she can't put the faith she has into a word, because we don't know a word for it.

Yes maybe that is the case, however it doesn't really explain why Amy doesn't want to tell us exactly what she believes. She is a very intelligent woman and appears to be well versed in many of the worlds religions, philosophies and cultural belief systems and I'm sure she is very much aware therefore of the bibles teachings on necromancy. I don't raise this point to denigrate Amy in any way as I truly believe she uses her "gift" to do good in this world. As I stated originally however I do wonder just exactly what the nature of these so called guides truly is? I don't believe they are angels, at least not ones which are still welcome in heaven. Just my humble opinion and I have no way of proving my theory and I wish nothing but good things or both Amy and Steve.
