​@@napoleonvance1462 Were, all the way back in season 2, when Amy was around 16. And wasn't there kind of an angle for that? It was more to cause 2 triangles. He immediately got with Ashley Stanton, and she and Ty had already kissed. My issue with Caleb is that up to now, even early into this season, Caleb's immaturity & impulsivity comes through. I can pick out things in ep's 2 & 5. Now in the 11th hour, the writers are projecting him in a "new light" (reference to ep5).. Sorry, you can't rewrite a character in 1 episode after 17 seasons. I'm hoping all this inference is a "red herring", because a romantic partnership would ruin the show for me. Why have her stress for the last 2 seasons that she only thinks of him as a friend then?

@lisamageo9148 Nathan didn't give up. But everything he did to prove himself to Amy, was stiffled by her family's "beef" against his family business. Amy just didn't set proper boundries with them, and issue an ultimatum. All this is besides the point now, considering how the finale ended for them..

They've both been in heartland since season 1, longtime good friends, both there for one another through hard times and her family respects him...eventhough he was tys best friends, so what vs all the time theyve spent bringing new guys in every season. But heartland lives on regardless!! Will always love it!❤❤

I'll never understand what women see in any man that might be handsome, but is immature, cannot sustain any close, committed relationship with a woman, divorced twice, rapidly wanting his 3rd relationship before he's had time to recover from the 2 failures, absentee as a father to his son, can't hold a career, and chases after his teenage crush 10 years after she married his enemy at the time. But hey, that's just me.

It reminds me too much of another show-- "When Calls the Heart" and how fickle they turned Elizabeth, building a triangle (with opposing "teams") for almost 3 seasons, ultimately to change her pick in s8 over to the other guy in s11. The show might still be on air, but Elizabeth's character isn't the same. Do they really want to do that to this show??

In the show Jack remarried Lisa, and they've been happily together for more than half the show now. Does he continuously compare Lisa to Lyndy Sr., making her feel she couldn't ever live up to her? Because there's at least 2 new writers this season (Ms. Conkie is busy with a H-mark series), I'm wary about the finale. Amy's character, who actually has been a bit irrational this season, would definitely start to look fickle/indecisive.

Amy deserves a mature relationship and she could have that with Nathan, Caleb is a man child and always will be. Caleb has two failed marriages, both women divorced him after realising he’ll never grow up. Amy deserves better! Caleb could be there for Amy as a friend but never a husband. Not even his son wanted to live with him. That says a lot!

Sorry, no, they really don't belong together, Amy & Caleb. Caleb is immature, always has been, show no sign of changing. Amy is wise for her age. Caleb doesn't learn from his mistakes because he is immature. Amy rarely makes mistakes due to her ability to learn how to be wise and thus she has matured way beyond Caleb. Caleb is an irresponsible and an absent father to his son, thus, he hurts his son by being absent chasing after Amy. Amy is a responsible single mother, has a daughter and any man she let's close to her daughter must not hurt her (Amy) or Lindy. Caleb has a proven track record of failing at relationships, hasn't learned about himself from it, and does not belong in Amy or Lindy's "orbits" until he learns from his own mistakes and doesn't "chase Amy" as a "burning desire" to posses what Ty Borden "took" from him.

I honestly don't want Amy with anyone because I love Ty but I think them being together would be ok. I think Ty would want Caleb to help take care of Amy and Lindy he did make him godfather of Lindy. But I think them being together as a couple like Ty and Amy won't ever happen. Ty and Amy's love story was amazing and I think if they put Amy and Caleb together it would be ok but not the same. I don't want her with Nathan at all and if the writers have to put her with someone Caleb will be ok. I do wish Graham would come back as Ty because it would make heartland really good again! They are and will be good friends always. Caleb won't hurt Amy. I recent Lou urging him to go after Amy. Lou using people to cause problem in Amy's life. Lou knows Amy has issues but after Amy shared that Nathan share she still try to hurt her sister. Lou wants her way just like season 14 she never gave Amy time or comfort in Ty's death. She was Mayor and Mitch crazy to stop and help Amy when she was asking for help in 14. I am not impress with Lou, Amy asked her to take off her business hat and put on her sisters hat. One day Amy will learn and keep Lou out completely, then Lou will boo, who over that.
