The years have gone by so FAST! It seems like it was just a short time ago when we were watching cute, sweet little Amy growing up in the White House, and, btw I had forgotten about her pet cat! Now she is probably a grandma since she has two sons. My sincerest and deepest sympathies to her and her loved ones on the death of her kind, compassionate father, grandfather and great grandfather. 🙏😢❤❤

Being the only daughter of the late President and the late First Lady Carter, she was their pride and joy . They loved her so much. So she was understandably very sad during the emotional funeral service that was held , first for her mother and then, her father. She got so much love and supports from those who were touched by her presence, and by her brothers, including her husband . She also proved to be a loving daughter to her parents.

She was so sad, but she projected enormous strength and grace of her own. People just didn’t seem to understand that Amy Carter, as a young girl, was very much the type of person who tried to live a normal life if possible while her father was so well known and her mother, who was a huge presence in her husband’s life. Amy grew up to be an amazing woman who stayed true to her family’s legacy. This is just my honest thoughts of Amy Carter.
