Funny you say that cause as much as I love this version, every time i hear it I always think it shoulda been just a wee bit faster. The lag stands out to me but the arrangement & production of this mix are otherwise spot on. Edit: after listening to it a couple times I don't really notice it. But when I hear the song for the first time after a long spell without, I notice the tempo right away. Go figure.

@@rpdbu8250 If I remember correctly, the local top 40 station in my area did play this version because I remember taping this particular one off of the radio. I also remember the one you linked in your comment, though. I think they chose this one because it was more of an urban mix, which fit better on the local top 40 station here compared to the official radio mix.
@rpdbu8250 Жыл бұрын
@@BreannaMae The A/C Rhythmic Remixes were the ones solicited to Pop/Adult Contemporary stations nationwide. These included That’s What Love Is For, I Will Remember You, Every Heartbeat, Good For Me and Lucky One. Amy Grant released the Greatest Hits Collection in 2004 from A&M Records, the second deluxe CD disc contained these specific radio mixes. A&M had also done the same thing on certain radio/music video remixes for Janet Jackson as well: Let’s Wait Awhile, The Pleasure Principle, Come Back To Me including other artists who had radio remixes different from album versions like Suzanne Vega, Shanice, Herb Alpert etc. I do agree with your original comment, the album version is not interesting. The radio remixes of majority of her released singles are far more superior than the actual ones, with the exception of House of Love (Any Amount of Money).
