She still has her wits about her. You would think you were still conversing with someone 30 years younger. She’s a fierce one.

"Her creepy husband" made me laugh. It's true that Marilyn acted Larry the Ham off the screen. Who cares if it took forever to make? Some art is worth waiting an eternity for. Thank you, lovely Amy. ♥️

I know, the creepy husband made me smile too! I guess it would be Damaggio? Or Aurther Miller, but he was 2nd husband

She placed an almost OCD stress on herself of HAD TO BE Perfection & there is no perfection. She got paralyzed with these fears & STILL could make it great if there were enough takes & PATIENCE… & MEN back then HONEY!! She was always going up a 🏔! Xx

Thank you Mrs. Greene! Many times stars would not be all that they are if it was not for the many people who work to show them at their best and most fascinating. There are whole industries behind the most delightful stars. R.I.P. Milton Greene.

Can we please hear more about the problems she was having with her creepy husband.

Not much worse than what she had discussed in other interviews about Arthur. Amy didn’t like him. Everyone thought he was cold to Marilyn. A lot of people said he was the beginning of when they noticed a real downfall in MM.

Did you know that Arthur Miller was a very outspoken leftist and "progressive" who went on to have a child with severe autism and he shoved him in a govt insane asylum and never visited him or allowed him over to the house?

I don't have too many specifics, but many people who knew them said that he was pretty awful to her. I think he psychologically abused her in the end which was very sad because for all of her own problems, Marilyn idolized him and his intelligence. Their marriage did more harm to her than good.

After they were married Arthur allegedly left a journal open for Marilyn to read which had derogatory things he wrote about her, like she was a whore and he regretted marrying her. He wrote the Misfits for Marilyn to act in, but if you watch it it’s closely based on their marriage where Marilyn isn’t portrayed in a respectable way - filming this movie was probably her at her most depressed imo. He cheated on her with his third wife during that movie. He’s also apparently the reason Marilyn drifted from Milton and Amy, and why her production company failed. And after she passed he wrote a play called After The Fall, which again doesn’t portray Marilyn in the best way and he got criticized for exploiting her.

Loved your total honesty. I bet all of Hollywood would cringe if you wrote a tell all book. Lol. Thanks, for defending the genius of the enigmatic Maryiln Monroe aka. Normal Jean. Glad they finally proved who her real father was. He was cute a looker as well in his youth. Thanks
