Marilyn was so nervous during this interview bc her and Arthur had just witnessed a serious car accident that involved a papadazzi, apparently she was trying to take a photos of Marilyn and Arthur but drove too fast in a road curve and crushed into a tree, she flew off the car, Arthur went to a nearby house to ask for help and as witness tell, Marilyn was in total shock and stayed still in the car watching the situation. Later on she felt very guilty bc the woman died trying to take a picture or her, that’s why she’s so nervous and off.

She wanted stardom but I don’t think she was prepared for the level of intrusion into her life. The fact her anxiety was so great that she couldn’t get out of her trailer for hours and left actors and crew waiting on the set is not the actions of a confident woman. She was plagued with confidence issues and bouts of depression which heightened her anxiety.
