Rip Robbie Lee whom Amy Lee wrote this for when he was 10 years old and they bonded over cartoons and watching cn At age 24 in 2018 he died The references to cn here are basically stand ins for her brother and how she missed him and watching cartoons and bonding with him well on the road He died of epilepsy at age 24 in 2017 and even at age 10 during this time, when she recorded this was very sick and at risk of dying, so she made this song dedicated to him, and it’s easy to see, as if you replace the cartoon names and cn with “Robbie.” It reads as much much more sad. she looks back on this song as cheesy, YET has zero regrets making it as it made her brother happy and honored their bond, plus because she got to go to cn studios (when it still existed.) and sing this her brother got to go with her and get a tone of free toys as a kid! Hopefully Robbie Lee is up in the great beyond watching classic cn 24/7. Or whatever else he enjoys. As he seemed like a rad dude and in all his photos even as an adult he screams 2000s cartoon nerd (which 100% is a complement as the 90s and 2000s are awesome.)
