The way these two women warmed up to one another right in front of our eyes was so funny and beautiful to watch. You could tell Martha was not into this at first, but as the segment continued, you could see Amy was winning her over. I think Martha has a major crush on David Letterman (watch some of their interviews on his show). And when Martha found out she was close to Dave, her entire personality changed. She wanted to be Amy’s best friend. She even said she’d change the thermostat because Amy was fanning herself with leaves to be funny. Watch the whole thing over and see how Martha describes the book. By the end, she’s basically selling it like it’s one of her own. Plus, it’s just a hysterical segment because Amy is hilarious. ❤
