What i love most is how their home reflects good mental health. Creativity, happiness, postive realationships with lots of people, healthy risk taking, and the ability to roll with the punches. Rabbit chews your couch? Thats cool just sew on tiny patches.
@DegreesOfThree5 жыл бұрын
Because we know it's every woman's dream to die alone in a cluttered apartment that smells like rabbit piss. Why do people think animals are toys to be used for our amusement? It's not a sign of good mental health to use animals as substitute companions. It's sad and pathetic and most definitely unsanitary.
@nayanaalyanie61805 жыл бұрын
Mostly Present Toys for amusement?? Have you never had a pet? That’s sad. Rabbits are common and can be great pets for responsible people. Rabbits shouldn’t be caged and they’re easily potty trained (that bin with hay in it is the litter box). I’m not sure what’s sad, pathetic or unsanitary about having an animal companion. You seem sad and lonely, maybe you should adopt a pet :-)
@DegreesOfThree5 жыл бұрын
Nayana Alyanie I grew up around all kinds of animals including dogs, rabbits, and horses. Have you ever heard of something called consent? The rabbit never asked to be a prisoner in a tiny NY apartment. Why do you think it chews holes in everything? Because it's designed to be outside in nature with its family foraging for food and getting sunlight and fresh air.
@cosmickitty95335 жыл бұрын
@@DegreesOfThree Im super vegan and on the one hand i agree with you but on the other hand, there are rabbits in shelters who need homes. the animal rights consensus about pets is usually 'adopt dont shop'
@DegreesOfThree5 жыл бұрын
Cosmic kitty The vast majority of rabbit owners aren't getting them at a shelter. If the rabbit could choose between an apartment and any random field, it would take its chances outside. The fact that the previous commenter would recommend a pet for someone that's lonely, is precisely the mentality that I find pathetic. It's bad enough that we use animals for food; the least we can do is let them enjoy their lives in a natural habitat. I happen to like Amy, but the rabbit doesn't give a shit how funny she is; it just wants to run around in the grass and fuck other rabbits.

I love how unlike a lot of these home tour videos this home is not built for comfort. She can’t find books in the color coded bookshelf, the doorbell is broken, the rabbit chews up the couch, the hair sample lamp gets frizzy, but that lack of comfort is what gives the place charm. As a New Yorker she'll be "moved out" when she dies. My Mom's Godmother passed away a few years ago. She had been in her New York apt for over 40 years (she was 97 when she passed). My Mom had to coordinate all of that from a different state. I assure you that it took a long while.

There are many of us who hate moving with passion, and love to stay in place and plant roots in one place for as long as we live. Not everyone is thinking of the nest bigger/better/newer apt, the next bigger/better/newer house.

I personally hate the minimalism aesthetic and love this aesthetic, but I love being minimalistic and hate the clutter of this. Help.

I always had this idea that if I were to make a tiny house, I'd make narrow walls and embed objects within. these would be toy collections in some places, or rock/gem/bone specimens in others. use your trash however possible. I've even started making armature with those amazon bubble envelopes.

I was just thinking earlier this evening that my decorating lacks courage. I love interior design and have had a knack for it for years, but this is the kind of gumption and joie de vivre I’ve been missing. Thank you for the inspiration! 🙏🏼

Bunnies are so cool. My last one, Jess, ate a Louis Vuitton purse. I am not a wealthy lady, so I can't replace it. But my fault, I left it where she could get at it! High maintenance rabbit! Sadly my health isn't too good, so I won't be getting another bunny either.

I’m 57. I’ve loved Todd Oldham for decades! Discovered him my freshman year in design school in Philadelphia. He should be a SUPERSTAR today. But he was ahead of his time. He’s so underrated. I still have pieces of his from decades ago.
