Jonah actually had a tough life. We all see this here, but do you remember the episode when he said that he keeps his cool down and doesn't get angry, just to wake up in the middle of the night screaming and sweating? The way he tries to change things for the better, he tries to help everyone, but do we remember when people actually genuinely wanted to help him (besides the breakup with Amy)?

I'm so glad they didn't frame Amy as the bad guy in this situation, because knowing this show I was worried they would make his family unraveling her fault and make it look like she's the bad guy, but INSTEAD Jonah's mom was so happy with her honesty, and Jonah being amazing stood by Amy in the aftermath of the unraveling. 😊

Though it does take two to tango, so I’d have to know the details before I assign any blame to the secretary. Maybe she liked him. Maybe he dangled a promotion in front of her? Who knows? She probably doesn’t have a boyfriend she’s cheating on when she sleeps with him.

Superstore is on a similar boat to Friends, in which there isn't one main character but an ensemble of co-stars that share the spotlight. For Superstore, it's Amy, Jonah, Dina, Glenn, Garrett and to a lesser extent Cheyenne, Mateo and Sandra. While Amy leaving will be unfortunate, I don't think it will dramatically effect the show's appeal or entertainment value. Heck, now that there's one less main character it means we might get more time to learn about the others; especially Cheyenne, Sandra and Mateo. Another possibility is that Eric could join as a regular~

Because she is selfish, self-centered, narcissistic, arrogant, ignorant, shallow, impulsive, immature, mean, negative, etc. Her character is really "stuck up", and that is why a lot of viewers do not enjoy her. The actress is apparently leaving though due to family and other work.

As for her character being a "good" fictional character, I would not state that. Her character is one of the most, if not *The* most toxic character on the show. She's not good at her job, but she keeps getting promoted to higher positions, she's a huge hypocrite, etc. Her character is also hugely bland and pretty basic. That's not really a "good" fictional character. Her only character development is sleeping with other men and getting promoted to jobs she doesn't deserve. I wouldn't state that this is being a "good" fictional character per say.

The regional manager deserved that cause she was being unfair by not giving Amy a fair shot even if she was the best suited person for manager (she is) and she shouldn't be doing cocaine at work. She tried to keep both the pharmacist (Tate) and the beverage delivery guy (Alex) a secret from Jonah to not hurt him but Mateo and Cheyenne told everyone. Also she's allowed to date other people when her and Jonah aren't a couple yet, she didn't know the "cameras" were on cause she wasn't there when Garrett set them up. Jonah was trying to be a good boyfriend and give Amy the day off from work for the costume contest cause she needed it the most (she didn't even know he cheated until after) and Amy tried to at least give the people at least something cause Glenn STOLE THE BAGS not her. Frankly, Amy is one of the better people in the store compared to Glenn and Mateo recently...

Really I feel its underrated, having the least subscribers and followers on social media platforms but yet the highest ratings when new episodes premiere live. The jokes aren't overused and the main character s(Jonah and Amy) are realistic and relatable in terms of their characters and relationship.
