rachel k Watch the documentary Amy. You'll see she didn't want to do this concert. She was forced to. She hasn't drank in a while when she died of the alcohol overdose...I wonder what really happened. The photos of her the day before her death reveal a healthier Amy. It certainly is weird her security that was supposed to check on her to make sure she was ok didn't make sure she was breathing, after he said there was a lot of noise coming from her apartment that night, unusually loud drums...I know this-she didn't want to be made to perform & she didn't want to die. She was working on her 3rd album. She was bulimic because she had to be skinny for the masses to accept her as the masses want what the media tells them to want. It's a shame, a tragedy, a sick revelation for all of us to see-Amy Winehouse was one of the greatest singers of all time with a heart of gold & an Independent spirit that wasn't obnoxious, rude or crass. She was an inspiration & an exceptional talent we were fortunate to hear yet we didn't hear much of her talent from the press, from the music critics or from the music world. Instead we were led like sheep into a field where we were fed criticisms of her-the drugs, the body-too thick, too thin, too this too that...there was no fence but we sat there & watched as her spirit was exploited & belittled. Why has nobody been prosecuted for kidnapping her, for being negligent in being her security yet not making sure she was secure? It's strange. What an uncivilized society we are-there is no civility for a woman when her talent is grand. We tear her down, women & men both, men for fear of her beauty & fear of her success, for that's what he's been told to fear. And women didn't see her talent, her epic life, her lessons we didn't hear, for women we follow men. To leave the field would be unheard of. Please let us learn & grow from Amy's greatness & let's enjoy gifts like her, ones the heavens sent, perhaps to show us our lack, our love, or perhaps to show us the brilliance of this one life we each have right now, the passionate possibility of living one's dreams persistently. I love you Amy thank you for your grace, your guts & your heart.✨💖✨
