Beautiful women with an amazing talent. Watching these older videos of her makes me sad when I think of what she threw away and what we have lost. She had more natural talent in her left eyebrow and every "super-star" singer out there today. May the Goddess bless Amy and help her find some peace.

I couldn't resist him His eyes were like yours His hair was exactly the shade of brown He's just not as tall, but I couldn't tell It was dark and I was lying down You are everything - he means nothing to me I can't even remember his name Why're you so upset? Baby, you weren't there and I was thinking of you when I came What do you expect? You left me here alone; I drank so much and needed to touch Don't overreact - I pretended he was you You wouldn't want me to be lonely How can I put it so you understand? I didn't let him hold my hand But he looked like you; I guess he looked like you No he wasn't you But you can still trust me, this ain't infidelity It's not cheating; you were on my mind Yes he looked like you But I heard love is blind...

It so sad, and yet, somehow, beautiful too. We have these fleeting singers, musicians, all kinds of wondrous people, pass through leaving behind something spectacularly exquisite. Jimi Hendrix Janis Joplin John Lennon Marilyn Monroe Whitney Houston John Belushi Kobain etc the list is endless. No doubt you can think of a few. But for me, this was incredibly so very very sad, a tragic loss to the world. I remember her having to 'come down' to Tony Bennetts level during a recording. I don't mean that in a derogatory way. Just before the session started Amy's confidence had taken a blow. Also Bennett being unique like Amy in having a remarkable singing voice, an icon of classy jazz blues. Another young 20 something year old. Passing through. 'Ships that past in the night speak of each other' I love you Amy, wherever the hell you are.

What a awesome performance!!!! The entire band is on point right with her excellency also. This is not a easy song to perform light of signatures ‘accents and time changes just to name a few. And then Amy’s voice on top of it! Still to this day I haven’t see no one come even close .on all her backing band and her! If you have a good pair of headphones listen to this song on em in the dark payed down on couch and crank it and it will take you to a whole different world man. I see her in one of the Kill Bill movies. Playing in a Smokey bar before all the mayhem breaks. Amy opening up a can of whoop ass! She would of fit right in a Tarrantinno film. 10 yrs coming up miss ya Winehouse!!!

Never heard her before yesterday and became an instant fan, kept on looking at her on videos and then these concert vids got me knowing what she was like b4 what everybody says about her now. I loved needles and the pipe more than my own family, lived in an alley too long down by Belmont High and lost 60 lbs. Only Jesus brought me out of that. 12 years later and sober that long, I'm fine.
