Hell yeah, brother and I just press the plus and the minus at the same time. And then it will go into settings and then I press the right middle button To cycle through the settings right ?

@JHOFF01 Yes...got it situated. Can't wait to give it a shakedown run tomorrow because a ebike is how I get to work so raining or not I will be on it. I commute about 23 miles daily run trip for work 5 days a week. My 1st ride on my Xpedition ebike was August 26th 2023 and since at zero miles of course and as of today February 18th 2024 I'm at 2485 miles...this Amyet is going to get put through it paces! I hope that you can keep moving forward with your content because we all appreciate the information you've provided.

Sold the folding one a few wks ago, bought the Amyet immediately! It's addictive, I try to ride to wrk every night, but winter here on the northeast coast is pretty cold, I've been in snow, rain, fog it's crazy! I'm only 5 miles from my work, I'm about to buy another one, more a traditional Mt bike type, 26 inch, but I love these motorcycle style e-bikes, they are awesome! Just discovered another dual battery on Friday on Amazon, it's pretty awesome! 1099. I may get it. I appreciate your kind words on the channel I'm pretty much just messing around I don't really know how to do edits and stuff I would like to do a proper video for all three of my bikes, we'll see, keep me posted let me know how you're doing with it so far it's a fun little bike

@@JHOFF111 yeah I don’t own that bike but I like when folks like you put out the help/info for others. How’s the G100? Mine is finally dialed in. The max speed I get is 30-31 fully charged straight flat road 40 degrees temp. I emailed them asking how to unlock the 38MPH but haven’t heard back.

Where is your page with all the settings listed out? I’m def following. I have a damaged (i think gen 1 with a brown seat red shock and 25ah battery with the usb output. Also gen one rear pegs) i just got a new one since someone hit my old one and bent the frame bad. The new one feels less powerful so i am going to compare settings tomorrow. Assuming i can get the battery back on the tray it was bent during the accident and i barely got it off.

Sorry I meant unscrewed the 4 screws at the back where the clamps are to turn horizontal instead of vertical which was the way mine came and screwed in the long way but display still shows vertically im trying to get it to display info lie yours does across instead of top to bottom ?

Do you have a upgrade recommendation for the controller? Since February this year I have over 2,000 miles on it,no joke. All of my settings are correct and it still only does 27mph.

@audiwankenobi361 you could put a bigger controller in there unfortunately I don't know enough about it to give you a recommendation but look around there is a guy on KZbin that is great for upgrading controllers, just type in search upgrading my e-bike controller or something like that

@@JHOFF111 yes I had to replace the brakes to Zoom Hydraulic brakes and I'm still on the original tires but they are in need of replacing soon. I still ride my Letric Xpedition Cargo bike as well....that's over 3000...yes,I ride both bikes as often as possible with or without my kids.

Does yours have a key for an ignition? Mine doesn’t have an ignition key and won’t turn on at all. Customer service said the newer models don’t need the ignition key, but I haven’t seen a single one without it.

No mine doesn't have an ignition key either, but make sure the battery is on there's a little switch on the battery

Hoping you can help me with some issues on mine. I can't seem to get cruise control to work, if I hold the minus button for 2 seconds while going it just turns on the walk assist for a split second and shuts right off. It also talks about turning the headlight off completely in the manual but I can't seem to do that the light comes on dim like a daytime running light as soon as you turn it on and has the switch to turn it brighter or on and off but even in the off or dim position there doesn't seem to be a way to turn the light all the way off. It says to hold the power button for 2 seconds while going but it just turns off the power. The other thing I was wondering is if it is normal that the wattage doesn't show anything whether I'm going or not it always says zero.

I agree I must have tried that darn cruise control 25 times before I figured it just wasn't in there, most of these e-bike companies with their displays can configure them to different things by adding a wire or to unfortunately on this cruise control wasn't an option

Hello. I've had the same problem out of the box with 25 kmh, then I did your settings and it's fully going now. But I have one issue or question...when I stand still and I turn the throttle, it ain't going nowhere, it's first when I push it up to 3kmh it indicate I now can use the throttle. How do I turn that off so I don't need to push it before I can use the throttle🥺🙏 instant throttle response would be awesome

@juanb1203 when you find the correct setting I think you hit the center button that will save it then you can continue on with the plus or minus to go to the next setting, it's something like that they're all a little different

Do you know if you can change the speed for each pas? I'd like to make pas 1 slower, like a walking mode. I have to go up and down a few stairs to get this in and out of my house. If I had something that acted like a walking mode might help

I think you can, it may be in the manual for each mode, I take all my bikes up four steps to my place, I just put it in P1 and throttle it up

Hey Bob, I'm loving the cupid so far, the battery life is awesome, very peppy, great pick up, it is a bit smaller than I thought it was, it's still really comfortable and very easy to handle, I put a handlebar extender on it that definitely makes it much better, and surprisingly it's easier and more comfortable to pedal then any of my other bikes, I don't have the S8, it's the V9 sorry can't help ya on that one, but yes the cupid is great so far, and great customer service, they did upgrade the tires, they were really a problem, popping the bead, mine did it too, they are sending me the new tires, apparently they are better, probably ur typically knobby 3 inch, however I bought great pair on Amazon, street tires. And that makes the ride even better! I'd definitely recommend the cupid. Thanks for the comment dude, any other questions, just ask.

@usairchairmanpfd2889 yeah you're going to get bad reviews with everything, other than those tires my Cupid so far and I've only had it for 2 weeks is excellent, I've seen some really good reviews on the S8 also, I live at the beach so we literally have zero Hills here so I can't help you on that one, but obviously with the dual motor that would be better for Hills, I guess it's a matter of preference, and the S8 I believe has a 25 amp battery so you're not losing anything but you're eating up more battery with the dual motor, that's why I decided against it because I was going to get that but I really don't need a dual motor

@Slow_PEV it's called battery sag it happens with every e-bike, basically when you throttle it it'll do that but when you're done throttling or you turn it off and turn it back on it'll jump back up that's normal.

Your screen isn't being charged? I'm not quite understanding your screen doesn't charge, there is a setting for the dimness or brightness of the screen but your screen itself doesn't charge unless I misunderstanding I apologize

When I “unlocked” the speed and set it to 100, it claims to go 31.5MPH but when I use a speedometer I am only going 25mph. I also confirmed this by messing around and matching my friends car speed on the road. The bike really only goes 25-26mph even though it says 31mph. Does anyone know any upgrades or how to make it go faster
