I love the dark doors with the brick. If it were up to me I'd leave the brick how it is. It's soo timeless and pretty. The signed turned out great. The ceiling fan a great addition too.

I found myself smiling as you re-planted your plants using your hands. I find myself never putting on gloves for outdoor work. I, too, live and decorate my porches. Yes!!! Great tip on breaking up the roots when repotting stuff. As a professional landscaper I see so often people just pull a plant out of the planter pot and stick it into the ground or new pot without breaking up the root ball then wonder why it dies. It will get root bound and not survive if you don't break them up. For the cricut sign, you could have weeded out the letters and used the outside as the stencil to paint in, would have saved a few steps. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Everything turned out beautifully, you have great taste and do a wonderful job with decorating. Hi Amy! I was watching a YT video on ferns as I have my first one and had no idea what to do with it! He was showing that when you have a fern that has outgrown it's pot, you can take it out of the pot, cut the fern down the middle and put 1/2 in one container and the other 1/2 in another. He suggested you plant them in a pot with a hole, then put that pot in another pot, then put water in the base of the larger pot. This way when the fern needs water it will take what it needs through the hole but it won't be "sitting" in water. So I'm trying that in a couple of days as my fern has outgrown its pot. I will bring one of them then inside the house and see if I can keep it alive! LOL

The whole family and some friends would sit out there after supper and he would 0lay guitar for them. I grew up in a small town like Mayberry in Iowa. Love what you did! I didn’t read the comments but if you reverse weed your stencil (take out the words and leave the background) put on your transfer tape and place the stencil on your item. Then if you paint over the stencil with your base coat (bleeds will be the same as your base coat) then paint your stenciled color, it’s much, much easier.

If you make an actual stencil, and go over it with your original color first - then paint it in black, that coat of your original color should fill in any gaps and you won’t have any bleeding with the black! ❤️ everything turned out beautiful!
