This song has been stuck in my head since elementary, which is the last time I heard it. I’ve been singing it randomly throughout my life. Didn’t know all the words to the hook. Today, I told my wife about the music teacher that would have us singing this song in school. She was pleasantly surprised, shocked actually. Then she suggested I look it up. Why I never thought to do that, IDK. I looked it up and my search led me here. When Amy started singing, my eyes immediately filled with tears. I haven’t heard this song in 37 years and as a child I had no clue what it meant. As an adult, I’m overjoyed at the magnificence of God’s power and love. As a young man serving in conflicts around the world never named as wars, I found this song and names for a God I needed to talk desperately with while recovering to serve again . I was only singing along, and I realized what I said to the people in tough places, "You turned the sea into dry land." It was JUST SO EXCITING to get a postcard from my nephew in Southern California where there is an extensive desalination plant. To my right is a picture of "Your customized home water," reverse osmosis I think. What we're charged with is using a crude filter in California including charcoal. Outside there are walkside gardens with different size gravel. I know from taking neuroleptic medication that the microbes start to work as soon as it's combined with everything else. And I thought the government was going to shut down some of the institutions; such that, WE WOULD HAVE APPLE JUICE, CANTELOUPE, AND YOGURT for breakfast.
