Showing the steps is helpful. Titling steps on the videos and listing supplies for those steps helps.

How did you get the bubbled up/textured look? Did you let the antiquing dry on top of the surface?

Can you do this on other types of material, such as metal or clay pots? Do you have a video tutorial for a rust-like finish? Thanks #replay Cut Bank, MT
@amyhowardathome3 жыл бұрын
You sure can! Just use the milk paint binder to get the best adhesion with other surfaces.

Correct or incorrect? I understand to successfully do this finish on an older piece of furniture that is stained and has a varnish or poly finish I can’t just put cracked gesso on the piece. In this case I would need to apply a coat of one step paint first?

I’m doing this finish on a mantle I have a question on the dust of ages How long do I need to wait after waxing to put the Dust of Ages on Thank you Amy
@amyhowardathome2 жыл бұрын
Make sure you've got good tack on your wax by feeling it, and then you can put the dust of ages.

can you skip past the stain if you have a stained piece of furniture? Do you need to remove any of furniture stain finish or can you just clean with clean slate and proceed on to next step?
@amyhowardathome4 жыл бұрын
No, because we are working on raw wood. If you are painting it you do need to clean it with clean slate first, paint with One Step Paint and then do the step outs with gesso...
