Several years ago, I got in trouble during old world finishing corse by you and Gene for doing this exact technique !!! Said cracked patina and milk paint shouldn’t be put together. And now look at ya!! Doing it. I feel proud.

I love this finish and the colours used as well. We are in the process of building a new, contemporary home in Mexico. Would like to use this finish on some of the furniture pieces, provided they will marry with a contemporary theme…..thanks for the in-depth, detailed, clear instruction…appreciate it! 😄

I love this effect! Now, I have other paints so can I use Cracked Patina on other chalk based paints and expect the same or nearly the same results? Does this finish only work with milk paint top layer? Which of your paint colors would you combine to go with a vanilla cream, cafe latte/light cocoa, with chocolates and deep espresso tones....basic color tones in my house. I have deep reds with black undertones, and some dark mossy green accents. I love watching you and learning from you!😍😍

Since the cracked patina doesn’t ever fully dry, could you apply the crackle and let it set overnight?

Wow, I absolutely am in Love with this paint & finsh ! I really Loved the 3rd layer. It's so hard to choose. Can this be done in my kitchen ? I really want to do this on my lower cabinets and do the top cabinets in chippy whitish. Is this possible. Thank you so much. I've never used chalk paint before but im dying to try it.
