That seems to be a pretty good mixer all in all, and it's great that it can use the KA attachments. Everything came out beautifully. I'm so sorry to hear the two of you have been ill; I'm glad you're on the road to recovery and will be able to enjoy your summer.

Like most Hamilton Beach products, the machine looks cheap, ugly, and dull. I can’t get past the appearance of it. It is not a pretty mixer and that’s one of the selling points of a stand mixer. I’m glad to see that it was efficient though. Personally, I would buy a Kitchenaid refurbished and use the 15% off discount they have going now right now and buy it through Honey so you can get cash back up to $50 refurbished and $80 if you buy a brand new. That’s what I did and I only paid $160 for a refurbished Pro 600.

Pro 600 that cheap is good. Amy LOVES her refurb Pro 500. The Hamilton Beach is not sexy but does seem to work OK. Thanks for watching. We appreciate it.

Too much speed when using the slicer-shredder! Amy you are not a novice at this game! Great review of the whipping, cookie mixing and bread making recipes made with this mixer. Glad to hear you and Eric n the mend from a Covid visit too. GE has returned to the small appliance arena and has a "planetary" stand mixer.

I don't really think the Hamilton Beach pro is ugly at all. It's simple in design but a mixer's looks is not so important to me as functionality. Currently Consumer Reports give the HB Pro high marks in their listing. Their recommended mixers are first Wolf followed by Waring Commercial Luna. Their next high rankings are the Hamilton Beach Pro. The HB Pro ties with KASM70 and few other KAs with Cuisinart Precision Master, which is what I have, not even close. But only the first 2 are recommended them. I am surprised it started smoking during the kneading. I can't really remember if my Kitchenaid 500HD or my Cuisinart Precision Master did that as well on the first use. Nonetheless it didn't happen again. I was never pleased with that 500HD big box machine I bought at Sams. After 7 months I trashed it literally after exchanging it 3 times. Cuisinart PM was better but your demo on that machine is correct... Somewhat disappointing. What I found out, it's good for large quantities overall. After 3 -4 years now, I want to keep as second. I am thinking about the Hamilton Beach because I'm tired of mixers not standing up to what they claim. I am not making the big investment. Thanks for your time and effort making these videos

Could you review induction diffusers? You talked me into the Sundavo induction stove top and I like it but I want to use my aluminum pans. p.s. I really don't know how to get the right size or if it will damage the glass on them or the pan, I'd love to understand the diffuser more and will take your recommendations.

I just got my new Kitchenaid ksm185 cast iron black 5 quartz stand mixer, and it’s been 1.5 weeks and I’m severely happy with it. The enthusiasts who are looking for a stand mixer if you have enough budget don’t think over it and get one.
