Amy, I saw this recipe a few days ago and decided to make it. I did not have any Mexican oregano, but was looking to go to a store in a small mall to mail a package and ran into a Penzeys; it had been there for 10 years but I never knew it. I made the soup today in a stock pot and it was awesome.

I loved this soup but I did use guacamole , sour cream and shredded cheese in the end and it was perfect.

Taco soup is always a winner! Specially on cold days! You should treat yourself to a salt box. I bought myself a wooden one when we were in Maui some years back. I love it. Easier to take a pinch sometimes then shake shake shake. ❤️
