Seriously, Lea Michele gives people _plenty_ of legitimate reasons to hate her without making up bullshit like this. There's nothing that indicates she was horrible to him. Even Naya Rivera, Eternal Leader of the Anti-Lea Michele Club, acknowledged that she took time over one of their breakers to help Corey get noticeably better at dancing because he was embarrassed by his skills. And this is an antidote from a woman who did not speak to off-set for the back half of the series.

Same! And I also would never ever imply that she didn’t loved him, I don’t like her but that girl LOVED Cory, she still does I would bet on that so to say that she was with him only because she was in a show (the same as hers lol) is honestly disgusting

I really like how Chris Colfer is just living his best life as an author and Amber Riley is off being amazing in her music career! Also the song that Kevin released a few years ago is still a bop! I think the actors struggling in their career is indicative of how difficult it is to be in the industry in general. Think about how many TV shows anyone has been in and how often these actors fall to the wayside after the show ends. Some people leave the industry of their own accord and others just can't find work anymore. It's appalling that people are still off trying to exploit the people who worked on the show and their pain. Also, Welcome back, missed seeing your videos hope you stay well!

1. When they started talking about dude who died in a car fire, I was like, so are we gonna get an even longer Glee Curse documentary in 50 years? Just like listing everyone who was even tangentially involved with Glee’s causes of death? “Linda was in accounting at Fox, later died of cancer. I’m not saying it’s a Glee curse, but…” 2. When Naya’s dad was like, “well, burying my daughter is a box that I just don’t open” I was like, “COULD WE GET MY MAN HOOKED UP WITH A THERAPIST THOUGH?!” 3. The Glee documentary series I want made would be about how Ryan Murphy’s writing process is scary exploitative.

I am not a professional. Only in the sense that I used heroin for 10 years pretty much w/o breaks save a couple days or a month here and there. As an addict in recovery who has ofc also known many other addicts. You can’t just blame a relapse on someone. Thats not how it works. It’s a disease, even now, 5 yrs later I have drug dreams, I have a little voice in the back of my head telling me one more won’t hurt. It’s complicated and like many addicts have said a relapse starts even before the use of the drug. You start letting yourself slip, letting thoughts come in, you start to plan maybe not even consciously at first. Idk if any of this makes sense or if I’m just rambling but my main point is: it’s sickening to try to blame Lea M. Just gross. Unfortunately Cory’s disease took him. It’s heartbreaking. And it is not a Glee curse or Lea’s blame to bear.

There are pictures of Lea drinking with Cory at hockey games, proving that she was aware he broke his sobriety and at the very least condoning of it. Shit like this is sadly common for Hollywood…look up the “Poltergeist Curse” or “The Dark Knight” curse. There dumb conspiracy that people make up when unfortunate stuff happens to actors who happened to show up in a movie or tv show together. But at least with the poltergeist one it was shocking because two of the younger actors (one being only 12) lost their lives between films due to a medical accident and sadly a murder while the movies were being made so that’s why people came up with the idea because it was so weird (because the first film used real dead bodies in the swimming pool for a scene) but this is just two people who passed after the show was basically over and it’s just a gross fetishized version of events to capitalize on their deaths

They never blamed her for his death, nor was he the love of her life. They dated for just a year and a half. Fans act like they were together for multiple years and lie about them being engaged. His mom not only confirmed that they weren't engaged, she said the relationship wasn't what it seemed and basically implied that he wanted to break up with her. If anything, the doc went easier on Lea than I expected. If they really wanted to blame Lea for his death then they would've shown the pictures of her drinking at hockey games with him, proving that she was well aware that he broke his sobriety and even condoned it. I would never say Lea is to blame for Cory's death but to claim that she was an amazing influence on his sobriety is simply incorrect. If my boyfriend almost died from an overdose at 15 years old I would never in a million years feel comfortable kicking back and drinking with him. That's crazy behavior.

So they say that it's Lea Michele's fault that Corey died and that she didn't care about him huh? I collect her albums and she wrote two songs for Corey explaining how in one song she was devastated that he died called If You Say So. Then the song, Hey You, shows her telling his ghostly spirit that she's doing alright but she misses him terribly still. If that's not caring I honestly don't know what is! Such a champion watching that documentary! Once I heard the title and then many cast members spoke about how no main cast or crew members were involved, I knew this would be bad. Then adding Nia, who died in a complete accident, not related in any way possible to Glee or any mental health issues she might have had in relation to Glee I will admit I am one of the people who were curious but knew I wasn't going to watch it.

Like the sheer amount of people who worked on glee like surely it's not statistically outragous for all these tradgedies to have occured in to same team? Like percentage wise? (This is not to take away from the losses but from the idea there some curse)

Thank you for the summary! I was curious, but didn't want to watch it. As a thank you, here's a nice behind-the-scenes tidbit from my time working background on the second half of the show- when there were make-a-wish kids hidden in crowd scenes, either Kevin or Chris always took the time to really go talk to them and their families when there was down time. You might think that's standard on sets, but not really. Almost all the main cast were really nice too. I won't say who wasn't, but I think y'all already know.

I personally hate these curse theories on film sets. They do this with the Poltergeist trilogy. When in reality it’s bad luck, health, and tragedies.

And the so-called Diff'rent Strokes curse, as if doing the show is what killed Gary Coleman and Dana Plato.

I had already no intention of watching it but I had completely forgotten it even was a thing 💀 I'm glad you made a video though, so you confirmed my assumption that it was just a waste of time an something made in poor taste. Like you said, I actually thing there is a lot of material for a documentary about glee. Between the cultural impact it had and all that went down behind the scenes there would be a lot to talk about but I doubt it will ever happen.
