Yup, Aldi's is the store! I remember when Aldi's came to town and I did my regular shopping, I'd look at my cart and couldn't believe how inexpensive everything was. Even with inflation, the prices are still so reasonable. Great job, Amy!

Amy - you know how they often put French translations on produce and all kinds of other products? Prune is the French word for plum. Pruneau is their word for prune (a dried plum).

Those plastic meat containers are great to keep diaper wipes in and keep in the car. Also I keep extra packets of Mayo, mustard, ketchup in from restaurants and keep them in the car plus some napkins, extra meds for the car. Or even little snacks in them. Kees them neat and tidy and easy to find when out and about or taking to the beach without having to take big bottles of that stuff. Also good to put serving size dog food or snacks in for traveling with animals.

We have always had the 2" faux wood blinds in our homes. We needed to replace our current home, so we just had the cellular shades installed. We went with the full blackout in a medium grey color. We LOVE them! Ours are all motorized, and my husband set them up on our Home Assistant so that they are on a schedule and open/close automatically every day on their own. They work super well at keeping the heat out of the house and truly blackout the room. Couldn't be happier.

Breadfruits are found mainly in the Caribbean. They have a unique taste and are a nutrient dense replacement for potatoes, rice or any other starchy side. We cream it like you do mashed potatoes or just boil with salt and have it with stew. You should try it one day when youre feeling adventurous 😂. It's good. So popular here in Barbados that it used to be given aways freely and is grown in almost every backyard. Now they're being sold around every corner. Peel the green skin off and cut out the "heart". Cook and enjoy.

The best price isn't necessarily the lowest. Quality food like fresh chicken breast, good quality ground beef, etc, has its own price points, and you can find sales but it's going to cost more as a baseline. Highly processed food like deli meat, hot dogs and processed chicken is full of preservatives, additives and chemicals - unhealthy as a diet mainstay.
