Planet greengate is from sonic x and was were zelkova and Lucas lived (all the plant people came from there) but they all got nuked by a species of human like aliens that lived allongside them. That's where the metered came from. The tree people wanted revenge after the genocide of their species and tried to kill all animals seeing their (our) ferocious demeanors. Zelkova ended up burning to death in molten lava and died in agony and dark oak had to be killed for he could not be reasoned with. The entire species was killed just like plants are in real life. That whole show was so dark. But yes planet greengate was nuked in a holocaust and everything there died.

Homing attack, Advance series music and levels, Sonic 3 sprites and Rush icons for no reason, modifying the hud for no reason and a lot of completely non-Classic level design. Also, FREAKING CRABMEATS AT THE FIRST LEVEL. And portals for no reason, too. Some weird OC, Sky Chase special stages (NO). The graphics and the Marble Garden gimmick are pretty nice, though.
