Amy I grew up without air conditioning. No one had air conditioning, not in schools, businesses, etc. We didn't miss what we had never imagined. I was age 17 when I first saw a vehicle with air conditioning. I still remember how cool the air felt coming out the window. Love you Amy.

I know your mother is a good cook, because I love to cook also. I think we get our passion to cook from our mothers. Amy I know all the hoops you need to jump through, just to get your loved one in a place for the therapy they need. We had to put my mother in for the help she needed. Just hang in there and help to encourage her, to do what she needs to get better. Will be praying for her to build her muscles back up. God Bless you family.

My oven was baking “fast”…so I got me an oven thermometer, & found out it was hotter than I set it for 😳‼️. It do help to get the right temp 👍‼️

I have wonderful family in French Settlement La. Girl it is so hot there. My nephew and i stayed for the month of June and came back to Tennessee July 2nd. We just loved being there. Much ❤

Yummy,yum,this looks so delicious. I like cakes with just a glaze...sometimes icing is a bit too much depends on the cake I think. I will definitely give this a try.
