My take away from this chat is don't give up. You don't have to be a genius. Make sure you use ALL the tools and strategies of successful traders including things outside of the markets like habits and record keeping. Eventually you'll make headway.

I had 2 losing years now. I lost 50% slowly, then I doubled my account in a month. then I lost 50% slowly again. then I doubled it again in a few months. then I lost 60% in 3 weeks. The conclusion is: I trade very good after a 50% downtrend.

Really wish the risk per trade was discussed in more concrete numbers. What's max stop loss on a trade or a day? in terms of $ or account %?
@Augie..2 жыл бұрын
The amount of money depends on what your account size is, that's why people rarely mention it. 1% account risk per day is fairly safe and reasonable

To: Bryan, Brandon, and brad: Yes: You had better believe this. Also, especially in the music industry which your progress and skill are rewarded by your industriousness, dedication, and practice, unfortunately, one needs to surpass the rubicon regarding out-of-control aspects as marketability, sales, promotion, tickets sold, etc. Ironically, this can become a venture of chance and uncertain opportunity. At least, with this, one tries in vain -- and loses nothing but the cost of his instruments and his heart, whereas upon trading -- one can go home financially bear and bereft.
