High rof: achieved by high gas port pressure, muzzel device work like tesla valve blocking gas like silencer make gun overgassed. The bolt travel is short (locking lug placement, pulley system to push the round halfway so bolt group need not travel far). Burst fire: slow motion show after the 1st shot barrel group no recoil, when the bolt hit the back only then barrel group recoil a bit. The burst mechanism is controlled by how far, (not how long in seconds) the barrel group recoils which is quite predictable. The beauty: combine counter balance (ak107) in pulley, seperate barrel group system (tkb 0146), muzzel device block gas from leaving like silencer. Winner of abakan trial. Rocket surgery. This thing breaks so many rules of good design that it is best left forgotten. Really a black mark on russian arms.

Kind of disagree. Mainly out of bias. Don’t see it as a black mark on Russian arms but more of an experiment. It would be a black mark if it was issued to troops en masse though. I still want one lol.
