Felpro made a pan gasket now so you don't have to use rtv

I don't understand why manufacturers won't use steel reinforced polyurethane gaskets. A $30 gasket is cheaper than the $4k+ engine. Better yet aftermarket can cash in on this

That pan only needs a 2mm thick bead of sealer, the reseal you just did is probably just as bad as the one you "fixed"

Just a heads up to make sure you did a good job (and proof for the customer). Use a drain hole camera through the drain plug once you've reattached the pan. I know that's how i'd try to do it if i DIYd it.
