I actually use a different approach: since you are not likely to break the horn and you will do more than enough elemental damage anyway (tatsuffy cleared the DPS check 3 times before the judgement) so you actually don't need super elemental DPS for the fight. I used alatreon HBG with 5piece safi, everytime I cleared the DPS check and he's in dragon element state I just shoot him with normal 3 or wyvern because they do more damage.

@@blpitts11 For me, raging brachy was the 3rd most difficult monster to beat in the entire game, really, I failed counteless times before have the idea to use the palico trap tool, who helped a lot (I always underestimated it). Extremely agile monsters like raging brachy are a nightmare for my poor fps lmao.

Thx Man! I managed to solo him, but I used LBG Kjaar Blitz Thunder. Ice for Fire/Dragon mode and Thunder for Ice mode. Took 25 min and 1 cart.

Exactly what i did but put an expert+ and block+ in the glider, even more affi. The assignment tho Was much harder then the Event. There i ran my usualy P3 Set and cartet twice. Still thight a.f. but done...

I can't recommend the decoration event quests enough. I've got some awesome decos out of the tempered Zinogre quest, though the high rank Lavasioth one is probably better for a level 2 jewel. It might get tedious to hunt the same monsters over and over, but it was worth for me.

After thinking I got used to Alatreon's dps check, I went to try MR kulve again. But still can't pass his dps checks solo. And it just ends the whole quest. How were people okay with this, but rage about Alatreon? Oh well, time to see if I can build a pierce lbg setup.

The difference is that Kulve runs away. Doesn't really make us feel bad. But Alatreon one shots, makes us feel incompetent. Of course, I can't speak for all of us. Just an observation. Just like with Behemoth/Extremoth. The only annoying part to him which everyone hates, the whirlwind spam. It's all about implementation.

Ang: i dont have the Kjaar Rage. what other options do i have for a fire HBG ( i have the Kjarr Ice HBG). Is the Lunastra HBG an option or even the Alalbash which has extra slots and with 3 reloads you get recoil one and fast reload or normal reload if you add a second shield. thanks, great video as always.

Tbf it's Alatreon. The 2nd hardest boss in the game. Makes sense you'd want endgame gear up to that point. Every shortcut you take will make it more and more likely you can't even complete the fight.

I'm use wex and full set safi + weakness exploit is enough for me to hit weak spot monster and get always critical hit Better if u can use partbreaker for cutting weapon And hammer + hh is better with slugger For ammo like bow and lbg, hbg. Better make sure user mind eye or bow jewel 2 first Thats it, happy hunting !! Best game with nice comunity

its soo funny when ppl post build with fatalis set to kill alatreon ...while all know to fatalis apear in quest you need first kill alatreon..doh......same with health regen on weapon ...its coral lv 7 hard grind arch temp namiele fight..cmon....its harder to get health boost than basicaly kill alatreon with rw power in any weapon.....same with fatalis...all those builds from net are same .......try kill alatreon with No fatalis nor health regen on weapon....
