The question isn't directed at me but here a re a few tips that can help. 1) Figure out your optimum study time. Knowing when you easily assimilate is a lifesaver. If you are more productive and study better in the morning, then move your study time to mornings or vice versa. 2) Have a study space. Don't lounge around on your bed or on a couch but preferably have a designated desk space where you study so your mind knows that it's time to study whenever you get in there. 3. Make study fun for you. I love stationary and it makes it easier for me to study. So as much as you can, use highlighter pens, sticky notes and any stationary that will make studying fun so you can have fun as you study and enjoy the process. 4) Take breaks. It sounds to me like you better assimilate in short chunks so do that. Take breaks in between your study time. You can do 45 minutes of studying and take a 15 minute break and just keep repeating the process until you're done. I hope these help and you do amazing at school

I feel like professors create these kinds of prompts so students can practice how to organize and formulate an argument on any subject through any lens. A lot of students from schools like Oxford go on to Masters and PhD programs, where they’ll begin contributing to the literature of whatever they’re studying. These exercises kind of lay the foundation for the real work they’ll be doing later in actual papers and publications
