I just recently found your channel and it's so awesome seeing your journey, especially when your videos have such a good balance between the technical side of your PhD work and your day-to-day activities. I work in a genomics institution where we do a lot of single cell/nuclei RNA sequencing using 10X Genomics and Oxford Nanopore, but I haven't had any experience with bioinformatics or spatial transcriptomics, so seeing you make the UMAP and work on your Xenium project is really cool!

Dear Vy I want to do a PhD in biomedsciences. My supervisor was really mean and was constantly calling me stupid and calling me names and he was not guiding me properly he would not even help me in the statistics and leave me astray with wrong information. What do I do?

Thank you so much 🫶🏻 my laptop was given to me by my department but the big monitor was from previous years (got it for a massive sale, I think £50, when a neighbour was moving out). My running shoes are from the brand HOKA 🩵

Just learn how to write research papers before you begin your undergraduate classes. Paper-publications professor "The Way of a cruel, mean pendant scholar" (your written words exceed your deeds) vs genuine scientist.
