Bought this for my wife as a Mother’s Day gift. I put it together, but she or I haven’t ridden it yet! The bike looks to be very good quality. I didn’t know it had a seat with its own suspension. Or adjustable front suspension. Looking forward to having my wife go with on bike rides now. The display has a way to adjust the setting and I set the PAS from 0-5 instead on 0-3. Also the headlamps and tail lamp/brake are a nice touch. And it has plenty of adjustments for a good riding position.

After looking at e-bikes online for about a week (really going down the rabbit hole) I finally chose this one. Just bought it on Amazon. Seems to have everything I need at a sub $1,000 price. I will mostly use it to pick up groceries---the rear rack looks very sturdy. I also like the thumb throttle instead of the twist. The front and seat shock is something the Radrunner doesn't have. Yes, it would be cool to have a Juiced Scorpion or Himiway Escape moped style e-bike but that's just a little too pricey for me at around $1,800.

Hi Bobby - Thanks for the great review. I have this bike on order, arriving in a few days. It's winter here in WI, but I didn't want to wait. My wife is 5'2". We ordered mine, and we will see if she can be creative (as usual) with dismounting. The pass-through design should help. She will order the white version if the size is workable.

Hiya Gene, I have bin looking at several bikes like this because of my health I can no longer run or walk very far with out pain over loading me lol, But I just cant take setting all the time ,Next time I see my doc ill ask him about it , tried my mountain bike but caused too much pain in hips and knees , You take care and be safe, love what you do here
@GenesTherapy3 жыл бұрын
Hiya Kord, yes many are in your situation. These ebikes are growing very fast in popularity just for that reason. Soon there will be a 30% tax credit for purchasers. I get a lot of requests for more info on these so I'll review some others in the future and maybe even do some giveaways! These class two bikes require no pedaling, you can just use the throttle. Make sure you get one that has adjustable handlebars and seat, you want plenty of leg stretch without your knees coming up too high, that is where problems can occur, cheers!

Awesome review, thanks BG! The tires on the hey bike appear to be a nice "middle of the road" width - something between a road & all terrain bike. Would you say they could be responsive on any surface? Thanks so much! 🌞
@GenesTherapy3 жыл бұрын
Hi Beverly yes this bike is set up as an urban cruiser but also has the cross bike tires that make handling off road very easy. I didn't take it on the beach sand, fat tire bikes work best for that. I'll be doing more ebike reviews going forward, I believe this is a super beneficial trend in many ways for everyone. Cheers!

Lol. It's an Omafeits (Dutch for "Grandma Bike") it's literally a bike designed for older people (no offense) because that makes it better! It's really designed to make it easy for ANYONE and EVERYONE to ride. In the Netherlands, that style is like the Honda Civic of bikes. It's almost perfectly functional.

Hey Gene! So I just watched another KZbin reviewing this ebike, and he said that the handlebar stem is a little sketchy, that he had to stop mid ride to keep tighting it so it wouldn’t wobble, has this happened to you as well? Just sounds annoying. He also agree with you in that it needs better breaks. And lastly, can you unlock the speed for it to go faster? Thanks in advance?

What is the biggest draw back that no one has addressed yet. Flat tires. You ride in the city You are going to get flat tires. Unless you ride on the rough rider solid rubber tires You get a flat and your walking and pushing your bike home.
@GenesTherapy2 жыл бұрын
not 100% true. You can add a rim liner and tube liner, also inject a bottle of slime into each tire, that will seal the tire should you have a puncture. Good stuff
