Pretty neat area. And finding the herd of mini wooly white horses..........cool.................

Haha, yeah, those were some odd looking horses 😂

I've driven out there and camped among the horses. We were able to drive up pretty close to them while they grazed. When they would run along side the road and cross the road it was so beautiful to see them running.

That sounds incredible. We’re definitely going to go looking for them again soon.

Those are Metzler Karoo 3s on that KTM. They are ok ,unless you need bite on the side of the tire.

Just stick with the Honda. You're going to have future problems with those German bikes and regret it. And it's much heavier. Honda's just always work and don't leave you stranded.

I'm dismayed at how INflexible bikes are (by marketing design?) ... a different bike and tires for EACH surface. I imagine a bike towing/hauling a bunch of specialty bikes!

Bikes definitely have limitations, but for me the biggest problem is my skill level. I don’t feel confident off road on a bike that can do great on the highway. I think it’s possible to have a “one size fits all” bike, but you need to be a better rider than I am. I’ve seen videos of guys on straight street bikes going up trails that I wouldn’t touch on a straight dirt bike.

I have watched some of Bret Tkacs videos and they have helped a lot. Especially with riding in deep sand. I need to watch more, and I’ll check out the others you mentioned too. Thanks!

@@HighDesertHills I forgot to add "ARiemann1" (channel) to the list. Adam is the Australian guy who BMW & KTM hire to make product introduction videos; he's the one who makes those stunning stunts look easy. He's a VERY nice, Good instructor, too. Subscribe ... and, as Greg Widmar of Moto Jitsu says, "Shut up and practice!"
