Here's another awesome trumpet that just arrived to the shop. This custom Powell trumpet would cost you $4800 today and take a fair amount of time to have manufactured. This one has very few hours on it and it plays wonderfully.
This is a very beautiful all around trumpet with a gorgeous sound and super versatility. I love the ease of centering and responsiveness. Check out how clean those slurs are on this horn. Fred Powell is a great craftsman who I met nearly 30 years ago and he’s making truly magnificent instruments.
