I will never forget the first day of arriving in Bangkok. I joined the Thia Friendly dating app at 8 pm that night. By 10pm, I had 346 responses saying they liked me. Let me tell you after 3 years on an American dating site and only meeting 2 girls that didn't even like me too much. I was hooked immediately and have been having fun taking 2 week vacations twice a year. These girls are great fun in Bangkok !!!

I have exactly the same story except I had tinder I thought my phone was broken or the app was faulty I don't use tinder anymore as I just pay for company if visiting for two weeks but been on many dates ..the first one actually insisted on paying for everything including dinner down chao prayha then in the taxi later that night a fancy hotel too snuggle lol but that was the only time ever I paid for everything on every date since

Wait. What would you expect a professor of Asian studies to have studied? Almost every professor studies the subject before they teacher. There is no philosophy or biology lecturer who didn't study it academically. I think the only one I know who doesnt have a masters in his subject is a creative writing teacher as he had two novels published

@@jacktersey3688That would be fair, but i didn't hear that. I know I heard 30.000 baht which would be crazy high for utilities. Utilities are not that expensive in Thailand. On my first trip to Thailand I had to pay $50 for utilities for the month and I had the aircon on most of the time because I wasn't used to the heat yet. To pay $800 on utilities alone you'd probably have to live in a palace or something

This guy has the credentials, by his own admission, of being a professor. Yet, his innumerable repetitions of "like" and "you know" make me ask " What is the quality of American universities, colleges and self-proclaimed institutes of higher education?" Furthermore, he has qualified as he told us, as a part-time monk. What? Part-time monk? I graduated from Manchester University UK after 4 years of study. If I judge him only by his speaking ability and lack of presentational skills here on this interview, I reach this conclusion: He would never be accepted to teach at any reputable institute of higher education in Western Europe.

A lot of us from working class backgrounds code switch when teaching. We have our natural speech and accent, based primarily on our upbringing and culture, and then we clean up our speech when working to give off a better/more formal presentation of self.

That's an urban myth it's absolute horseshit. ALL humans have an Adams apple, women and men both, its just that on women they are GENERALLY much less pronounced, but its far from a given. I mean look at someone like Megan Fox, hers is bigger than mine😂 Plus for ladyboys that do have a pronounced Adams apple they usually get it 'shaved' down to nothing as part of their facial feminisation surgery, its a super common surgery in Thailand. Bottom line ( no pun intended 😂) Adams apple tells you nothing.
