I mean, Quezcotl is the easy best of the week - albeit not the best on the EP, thanks to Input Output - but JOYRIDE isn’t that far behind all things considered, it’s shrunk on me a little since release but it’s basically if Vroom Vroom got Romanian Popcorn-ified, which is both an exciting and really fun combination. Also yeah, I’m super tired of gentrified Brazilian Phonk at this point, at the rate that genres like phonk & that particular jersey club/digicore fusion completely disappeared it’s probably going to be burnt out by the end of the year…Anyways, I’m rooting for JOYRIDE, great song imo.

I can’t really get into Joyride because I just associate the sound palette of it with her previous, biting “Rich White Straight Men” track, which is intentionally off-kilter and circus-esque - this feels like she tried to turn that into a real song
