The best stepmom in gaming, yes! Badass design, amazing gameplay feel, and a lovable badass all around: easily one of my favorite FE characters ever. Her supports with Ike and Mist man, they get me every time. Ike acknowledging that she loved Greil, and Ttania being a mom to Mist makes me feel so many kinds of ways. I love that you can kind of read between the lines that, even though Greil definitely didn't get over his late wife, he and Titania definitely had *something* going on, or at least an odd sort of understanding. It makes the family dynamic so nuanced and palpable.

fun fact: someone I follow on Tumblr made a poll tournament for the best parent in FE (after running one for the worst parent), and Titania made it to second place, losing only to Muarim in the final! (I still think Bantu should have won the semifinal against her, but eh, I'm not too twisted up about it. I'm too busy being twisted about Elbert losing to Chrom-)

I kever got angry at the Mathilda CG but her position feels... out of character? FE12 had a render of Minerva kidnapped and handled it basically perfectly, it didn't feel like it flew in her face the way Mathilda's did.

Titania is my favourite character in the series by a huge margin and has been for years. If I were to try a video like this it would probably come off as self-indulgent and masturbatory. This was good though, 'objective' in a way. Wrapped up nicely almost everything I could have said.

As of writing this comment, I'm halfway done with this video. Loving it so far, then again I love anything Tellius related. The only gripe I have, and the only one I will have is: why does almost every FEtuber pronounce her name wrong?? The canon pronunciation is verbalized in both Radiant Dawn and (apparently) in Heroes, and everyone just...ignores it. Anyway, let's make this a sandwich. I love every bit of Titania in the main story. I can't imagine the kind of pressure she's under after Greil's death. I forget if there is a convo like this anytime else, but I'd like to think sometime after the events in Begnion (aka after chapter 17) Ike has a heart-to-heart with Titania where he proclaims that he's grown to the point where she can rely on him, and more importantly she agrees. Also I like the idea of her going from an adoptive mom figure to more of an older sister after all of Ike's growth. Creates a funny dynamic where Ike has a pseudo older sister along with a pseudo younger brother in Soren.

The fact that Titania is still one of the best units in Radiant Dawn even with the MASSIVE nerf horses got in that game shows just how cool she is. Imagine the Tellius games with reclassing though. 👀

The scene in chapter 22 of Path of Radiance where Titania yells at Ike is one of my favorite scenes from all of the Tellius duology. It is also a decently sized plot hole. Ike all but explicitly states that the Black Knight killed Greil in chapter 9 when he talks to King Caineghis a conversation for which Titania is present, and he straight up tells Tauroneo in his recruitment dialogue. That second one is easier to forgive because she doesn’t have to be within earshot of that conversation. What is weird, though, is Ike saying that he never felt like talking about it. Boy, you told 2 different people what do you mean?
