Just an fyi if you do the front strut bar, get one with the brake brace. Makes a huge difference when braking. AEM makes one. If you do a front brace, you should do the rear one too.

If the gas filler cap electronics fail, and the user has to go into the trunk to open the gas filler door, how does the user even open the trunk, assuming if the trunk fails to open too? Unless there's a mechanical lever to open the trunk? I know it's very unlikely that both trunk and gas filler door will fail, but then again, if the battery dies, electronics die too. On an added note, holy crap, the shape of the filler cap is inspirited from the 2000gt's headlights?? How awesome is that?!?

You can use the key to get into the car then fold down the rear seatback to gain access to the trunk. Yes the connection to the 2000GT is cool.

What about the 3 sprayers for the windshield? 1gen has 2 along with most cars. Hated the cover release in the 1gen. I have 2022 gr86 AND 2018 brz. Can swap struts between the two cars and 2018 Sti SS works in 2022. The stock gr86 is 1/2in lower then stock 1gen.

whats the point of a strut tower brace? I see from the internet they claim it is useless. I was going to buy one for myself.

My ML320 gas cover has a pin that locks the Gas Cover when the car is locked. Being a 1998 never thought it had it until one time when filling up. Not reliable either since its old.

from your own daily driving, did you really need tat strut tower? After 2 months of installation?

Strut tower brace (front and rear) make a huge difference in rigidity. You will feel it on curves, especially cloverleaf turns.
