Infertile doesn’t necessarily mean that having kids is impossible, just highly unlikely. In most cases anyways. I used to babysit for this lady that believed she couldn’t have kids so she would foster and try to adopt. Once she was successful in adopting her first child she immediately became pregnant twice in two years. A lot of the time when you’re trying to conceive it causes a lot of stress and pressure and other emotions that make it hard to do so. So then no longer focusing on trying to conceive combined with finding love again may have been what they needed. But I also totally wouldn’t be surprised if The Others were responsible for her pregnancy somehow and the dreams warning Charlie to save the baby could mean Sun’s baby and not Claire’s. It’s also 3 am for me right now so if I sound insane that may be why.
