Mike's series made it even more obvious how many loose ties there were. How many times they baited us with a hint of A, when they themselves didn't even know yet. That’s why everyone got excited that the little girl Eliza that CiCi would visit on her outings with Archer/Eliot and gave the dolls of the girls to. People theorized that Eliza was Alison’s daughter with Darren Wilden from when she had her “pregnancy scare” that summer in Cape May. Since Wilden’s family had Amish ties in the book, people thought Alison disappeared and Wilden arranged for her to hide out in this Amish community in order to have the baby and give it up for adoption. That was believed to be the reason why CiCi was spending so much time with the girl and telling her stories of Alison and her other dolls. It would have been interesting since it would have explained where Alison was during the time she was missing and why Wilden wouldn’t let her come back.

The funniest thing is there’s actually a way that they could’ve fixed the plot holes of CeCe being A that would’ve pretty closely resembled the book if they had revealed that Charles/Charlotte was the one that was killed and her body was discovered and would explain why they got accidentally identified as Alison because she could have looked like Alison and the DNA could’ve been close enough and they revealed that the CeCe Drake that has been running around since we first met her was actually Bethany Young and they took her identity? It would honestly solve everything.

as someone who didn't watch the original show, when mike said that emily was the egg donor but they still didn't know who the sperm donor was, i was SO SURE that the big reveal was going to be that cece froze her sperm before completing her transition and is now posthumously the father of alison's babies, because that would be the most delightfully fucked up thing this show could have gone with - so basically i'm taking your comment and the babies looking like alison as confirmation that my unhinged theory is actually true lmao

@@friday13thirteen to be honest, i was expecting the same thing. i've seen the original show more times than i count (i used to turn it on and let it play essentially 24/7 in my bedroom, even at night while i was sleeping, and then whenever it reached season six's midseason, i just started it from the beginning again); but i only watched the final season once and avoided it every time afterwards. i haven't seen it in years and genuinely couldn't remember the father of the babies. thank god they didn't do that. there was enough 'faux' incest in this show, as it is.. though it pains me that someone thought there needed to be any at all. still, that storyline is so fucked. however, i don't know exactly how the twins being white proves anything; except, maybe if it was cece's sperm, that emily's eggs were not actually used, but they were stolen. so, maybe they were only taken in order for emison to think they were. i guess if A.D. wanted them together, like a secret shipper that decided to force them together lmfao.

That moment when Alison is apparently a redeemable person but Mona isn't?? Alison blackmailed people left and right, treated them like crap, and almost drove Paige to suicide but she's allowed to "get better" and have a happy-ish ending but not Mona? Mona definitely did some terrible stuff but she also had severe mental issues that Alison herself helped cause, she also genuinely tried to help the group and wanted to be their friend after everything that happened but got pushed out at every opportunity. Why couldn't they let just her get better and have a decent ending?

@@missserenity1090 the girls did nothing even remotely close to what Mona did. At worst, they didn’t stand up to Alison but that was because they were also being essentially trauma bonded to her. And the only specifically cited reason given was that they stole her only friend from her. At no point was Hanna not Mona’s friend after the girls were reunited. Mona had every right to seek revenge on Alison but the girls? And to the extent she did? I mean, literally plowing Hanna with a CAR? Nah. She misdirected her warranted Alison anger. But it was misdirected. The real crime was how horribly the girls continued to treat Mona even after she repeatedly helped them and tried endlessly to be on their side with finding “Big A” and eventually Alex Drake. Edit: the only reason the girls ever did the terrible things they did was BECAUSE of Mona. She blackmailed them for years. She is not an innocent victim. She is not unforgivable, though. Not in my book at least.
