Great stuff, even if it falls under 'You Tube Tropes' for unboxing videos! The one video I will look forward to in a few months is after your summertime to see how they have acclimated under your expert care! I'm hoping to get two new ariocarpus through their first winter here in the Northern Hemisphere. Good luck to us both!

The rostrata is very cold tolerant and gets huge over time especially planted in ground.

Interesting! I’ll be interested to see how it goes in bonsai form.

Hi your videos and all your knowledge on plants is amazing. Always enjoy watching. I see you have a bloodpressure cuff on do you have a heart or bloodpressure problem?

@AridZine oh no I hope you get better soon. I once had high blood pressure problems but is better now mine was caused by Covid 19 in 2021. You can maybe eat some beatroot this plant helps with high bloodpresure . The other thing that helped me was some lemon juice water with a bit of sugar🙂

I dont think that lealii, true lealii leaves dont have fur. Let see when they got full leaves

Hi there - your comment got me researching, because I trust the grower where these plants come from, but it always pays to check. That led me to the botanic description of lealii, which states “leaves tomentose” - tomentose meaning “covered in fine hairs.” I will of course continue to monitor the leaves to be sure though!
